When is the US going to see BF EVO in the gamestores?

BF:Evo was on the shelf in southern oregon, USA. If it's here, it should be everywhere (in the states at least).

I went down to the store to pick up my boxes and asked them to order a few more for me. According to their distributor, the line is sold out for now. Anyone else experience the same thing?

I know people want to save money, but try to buy from your local game stores as well. They're the ones that'll give you a space to play and a way to pickup new players.

There may be a small number of extra boxes going to the US, but it is worth telling your local stores that if they want more stock, order now - we weren't kidding when we said demand would outstrip supply!

The good news is that wave 2 is already on its way to us, and a new run of wave 1 will be close behind.

Still no love here,

ThoughtHammer said they should of had some in today, but no word yet

My Local still has not got a date for thiers

These prices are awesome!
I wonder if the pricing will go down after its been out a little. I remember paying top dollar for SST and like a month later it was 25$ cheaper.

Yes, shortages in the US from what I heard. And my store is around the corner from a Mongoose Dist. Center. Going on-line. So much for support your local store. - I was afraid this would happen.

You might just want to check that local store again. Unless they sold out of everything they got in today, they had stock the last time I heard....

No USMC and MEA in stock(per this afternoon). Two factions that I believe are very important to US gamers due to the fact we have many troops engaged in this conflict. Will check them out Saturday to see what is left. Got the impression limited inventory.
Don't get me wrong it is a fantastic store I really do depend on them.

As a store owner I really don't mind if someone goes and gets their stuff on the internet. It's part of capitalism and all. I'll even help them with questions on the junk they bought off of Ebay and can't get running. The point where I loose it is when I hear the same guys bitching about 'They don't have the new XYZ' or 'Why don't they have twelve cases of the latest warhamster trading card game?' I will then let them know (in a friendly tone) "I don't know, it might be that no one has ever even asked us for it and no one pre-ordered it either." I usually get blank looks in return.

In short no store has a problem bringing something in that is actually going to sell for them. Every store has a problem with bringing in a bunch of stuff that doesn't sell and having to eat it and the profit on the next thing that does sell to make up for the loss.

Amen to that. A friend that was a store owner got seriously burned on GW's blood bowl game. Came in like a storm, and just as quickly dropped by GW. Then there were people who.

I'll bulk out the rest of my demo armies with online purchases after making sure to purchase a small portion via my local stores. As much as I'd like to buy everything from local stores, I don't have the money yet.

I would hardly say bloodbowl is a fair comparison, the fact that further stuff for it was dropped is hardly a big issue as its not really a collector game, you dont build bigger and bigger armies, you just need a team or two.

And the game may not be frontline for GW anymore but is still supported and rules updated on the secialist games website!

Anyway though, I doubt BF Evo will be sidelined any time soon judging by the enthusiasm of most people here who are getting into it and the fact that mongoose is getting orders by the bucketload from what Ive heard :)

GW has not dropped the Blood bowl line. Far from it. They just re-release it every so many years with x number of games made. They then have the line supported as a second tier game. With updates, and ocassional models. They do this will many of their games. With time the game becomes somewhat scarce, and once the demand is in BANG, they introduce it again to the next generation of players. Works well.
