US distributors will be receiving their orders from tomorrow. The earliest that retailers can sell it is Saturday 17th. Check with your store to see if they'll have it by then.

It depends entirely on your store's policy of receiving product and how far away they are from their distributor. If they are a 1 or 2 day ship from the distributor they _will_ have it for Saturday, if they want it....
To put it another way, the majority of stores who want to catch the weekend crowd will be getting it on Saturday. If your store is less concerned about releasing it early, you may have to wait until next week.

You're best bet is still to talk to your local store. If you assume that they won't get the product in and they do and sell out, you'll be kicking yourself...

Given I'm the last MI in the state here, Alex, I practically live out of my store. I'm pretty well versed in shipping scheduals for them too. If something gets sent out on a monday from the distributor, it'll be on shelves (at Gameparlor) on a Wednesday or (at Eagle and Empire) on a Thursday (mostly because they had to make space...now I think it's a Wednesday shelf date too)....

For those who are only 1 or 2 days away from distributors and can get orders on Saturdays if they need to, the answer is Saturday 17th. This is why people should ask their store. In your case, you may unfortunately be out of luck, but many other stores will get the product in and people will be playing the game while the rest of us shovel snow out of the driveway.
