When is the US going to see BF EVO in the gamestores?

Alliance called Thursday (15th) and said they were ready to ship and was it OK because there was enough to qualify for free shipping :D . My assistant manager told him 'Sure, it's not my money so go ahead!' Little did he know that I'd have hurt him badly if he had said no. Later he asked my what factions I was planning on getting for myself and I started to say USMC and MEA then because of all the PRC picture up on these stupid forums I'll probably have to do them and by the time SAS comes out I'll of course have to have the Brits! I wonder if they'll be any left for the customers???

If they did ship Thursday that means that we might see them on the 20th or 21st.

Also on a side note, I now have to rush and clean my home game room up so I'll have room to play!

I just called my LGS an hour ago, and asked if they had anything in. What they'd neglected to tell me the last few times I'd brought it up in person is that they're only going to stock a few models until wave 2 is out.
I don't feel so bad having ordered directly from Mongoose now... (and having already had them for a week because of it!)

One of my Gaming stores got its order in this weekend, and it immediately sold well. When I got there, there was 2 PLA Type 99 tanks, 2 squads of PLA Infantry, 2 Challanger Mk2 tanks, 1 M1A2 TUSK. Now they're short 1 M1A2 and 1 PLA Type 99.

Mine hit my LGS today. I was about to give up on this ever coming to the Midwest, but shtuf happened :)

On another note the LGS showed me their store copy of Game Trade Magazine and they show release dates for SST:Evo in April!

First Wave to include:

Arachnids: Tanker? & Warriors

Forth: Fenos & Fenirs

MI: LAMI & Exosuits

Skinnies: Soldiers & Raiders

Most boxes are boxes listed at $29.95 USD

Any Comment Mongoose Guys????

i have those items on my list, but there penciled in, maybe part of the delay on wave 2 trying to get 2 ranges out for the stores, personaly id have waited in sst-evo till more BF-evo stuff was out, but im bias

dont forget a few manufactureser have been delayed at the moment as westerners keep forgeting stuff shuts down for chineese new year.

Meh, they should just continue working so they can keep their Western overlords happy.... because if they ever privatize their industries, most of them would immediately fall into Western hands.

Now to call my other FLGS today to see if they got thier order in.

First wave contents wasn't new but date is likely wrong. April was the original date but now it is pushed back. Seems like around GenGon(whenever THAT is...).

Our shipment from Alliance West arrived Monday. It was on the shelves by 3p.m. The initial arrival was 6x Brit. inf, 3x Challys, 8x USMC inf, 5x M1A2, 6x PLA inf, 3x Type 99, 8x MEA inf. A pretty serious investment when you consider the fact that we still have to maintain normal buying in all other sectors of the store and we have a huge order out for Christmas helicopter parts this week. Our selling price is $26.99 on the inf and $21.99 on the armor.

They missed us on the Technicals altogether though  I know I had at least 4 on pre-order.

Now because of my schedule I won't be able to even play a game until the weekend :x

I think I'm going to have to buy from Ebay. Do not seem to shipping. Can always stop by the store when and if they ever get them in.

dont know if this has been posted ( i aint looking through 6 pages of posts....)

but check here:

Thanks, I've been looking at the warstore...I swear it said preorder still yesterday. I may just go with it.

brook; You're gonna need more PLA infantry to balance things out.

Thanks for the reminder on the Technicals. I checked the website today at work and it had them, I guess I just forgot.

Question for MS: I was wondering why you didn't go with white for one of the Technicals? White and Tan/gold are the most widely exported auto colors out there. The colors that you chose look like they fit in with the 2nd ACW concept very well but a little odd elswhere.

I love all the minis but you might mention to production that a lot of the model bases have become one with the twist ties (VERY solid packaging for retail and shipping by the way). I've even had to nip some of the remains of the twist ties plastic off of the bases when they ripped off stuck to them.

P.S. My entire first wave may end up selling through to staff. I already ordered a second order of first wave today. :)
