Dragon Warriors: Classes and Weapons

Ok, I have a doubt.

I know that Knights and Barbarians, being the fighter-types can pretty much use any weapon they want. Warlocks likewise, can use any weapon they want, but must deal with "Weapon Groups" when they get to 3rd Rank.

But what about Sorcerers, Mystics and Elementalists? I can't find any info on the rulebook about their armaments limitations (I did find about their armor restrictions). Can they just any weapon they wish?

Is there anything preventing a Sorcerer from using a two-handed sword? If not, then it means Warlocks (fighter-magicians extraordinaire) get shafted with their Weapon Groups limit for no good reason.

And what about shields? Can everyone use those?

Also some weapons require special Training to use properly (the Long Sword) or even at all (the War Lance requires you have the Ride Warhorse ability)

but anyone can use fairly much any weapon just some are better (in some cases much better) at doing so.

? where is it written that a sword requires special training?

Normal Swords in the Core Rules require no special training, but "Long Swords" appear in one of the downloadable appendix, a more correct description of the weapon as it appears is a Bastard Sword, it's a Hand and a Half Weapon (meaning it can be used one or two handed), most folks can use it two handed but Knights can choose to use it one handed where it functions as a normal Sword instead of using the stats that appear in the Appendix (or they can use it two handed like every one else to full effect).
