No Laser Bays?

There some easy ways to find out the size.

Figure out the actual size of the warhead.

Then the sensors.

Then the control surfaces.

Then, you'll know how motivation takes up.

Torpedo pictures...
Having flashbacks of recent and past videos talking about the pigeon guided bombs and the Japanese torpedoes that stuck a person in as navigator and then welded him in.

Then there was bats being dropped over Japan. Wasn't just pigeons they had to watch out for.

I didn't think the bats made it over... just destroyed the warehouse in the US where they were being developed. But I don't really remember on that one.

Yeah, been awhile not sure either. Think they did manage to drop some though.
According to Google:
The goal of the project was to drop numerous live Mexican free-tailed bats, each carrying a lightweight incendiary canister, on suitable Japanese target areas. The unusual weapon system was never put into use. Bat-bomb canister later used to house the hibernating bats. May 2, 2021

Thought that they had done a few tests but guess not. They had hopped they would nest in the buildings and set them on fire.

There's a lot of inventive, and insidious, things both sides thought up.

The Drevlians responded that they would submit to tribute, but that they were afraid she was still intent on avenging her husband. Olga answered that the murder of the messengers sent to Kiev, as well as the events of the feast night, had been enough for her. She then asked them for a small request: "Give me three pigeons ... and three sparrows from each house."[22] The Drevlians rejoiced at the prospect of the siege ending for so small a price, and did as she asked.

Olga then instructed her army to attach a piece of sulphur bound with small pieces of cloth to each bird. At nightfall, Olga told her soldiers to set the pieces aflame and release the birds. They returned to their nests within the city, which subsequently set the city ablaze. As the Primary Chronicle tells it: "There was not a house that was not consumed, and it was impossible to extinguish the flames, because all the houses caught fire at once."[22] As the people fled the burning city, Olga ordered her soldiers to catch them, killing some of them and giving the others as slaves to her followers. She left the remnant to pay tribute.

The Germans tried that too with some new concoction of Pervatin mixed with other psychedelics for the pilot.
It didn't work well . . .

Did anyone mention the Japanese balloon attacks against the west coast? They launched them in Japan and a few hundred made it to the West coast, but didn't do much damage wise.

Not recently, but it was in a thread last year.

It's not even known if all of those have been found.

A school teacher along with some kids where on an outing in Oregon and where killed that is about all.

Yes but the Traveller missile has been described as

in nearly every version of the game.
I would argue that if they're also described as fitting 3 to a spaceship-sized launcher, and 12 to a ready magazine, and spaceship weapons being described as massively more destructive than ground-scale - then we don't have a single description, we have several contradictory ones.

Actually there is one.
Now, normally I don't really think it's a good idea to keep adding things in obscure publications, but this was my first book for Mongoose, so I'll cut myself some slack. In Spinward Extents, p. 193, there is a nice blue box entitled Murian Pulse Laser Bay. It's a small bay, just pulse, and hasn't been updated to HG'22 standards, so the damage probably ought to be decreased to 4D.

On the other manipulator, I don't see why there shouldn't be bay lasers, both beam and pulse.

Two sets of questions regarding the Murian Pulse Laser Bay:

1. Are these weapon systems only produced by the Murians in 1105? This would cap these TL12 systems at 1 advantage on the TL13 Murian worlds. Alternatively, are they now built in other polities enabling TL 15 (3 advantage) versions in the Imperium?

2. How does the the Auto 2 feature work with starship weapons? The Auto X trait for ground scale weapons offers three fire modes, but the duration of combat rounds are different at starship scale. Are starship weapons only able to fire in the Burst mode for Auto weapons or can they attack multiple times per round in Full Auto mode?

The reduction of damage to 4D with the addition of the 10x muliple for small bay weapons seems like a good balance change.

Thank you

That's where they are described as being 50kg.
