I´m watching Legend of the Rangers at the moment...

Just thought I´d let you know. No particular reason. I´m not at the point with the Kung-Fu gunfire yet, so I still like it. Makes me want to finish painting my two Nolo´Tars.

There you have it, now flame me into Oblivion...

Just remember to either a) Wash your eyes out with Bleach after, or b) Wipe your mind of the horrid experience once it's finished.

Now that I look at it: the Nolo´Tarminiature has some weird gun turrets which the Liandra lacks - well, something I canlive with.

BTW, Emperorpenguin: Your new Avatar is awesome!!!!! :D :D :D

The film was just awful. The acting was even worse than crusade the plot was a complete joke (the big bad scary enemies were so powerful that they got killed by beaming a grenade aboard. Thats a GRENADE mind you, not a nuke..... and they were stupid enough to fall for it TWICE...) And the Kung Fu guns were the worst idea I've ever seen. (but Im not going to start off on that again ;))

There was in fact throughout the course of the entire film only the prescence of G'Kar and a few Minbari to even remotely make the film feel like it was even set in the B5 Universe!

Now, personally I dont particularly rate any of the B5 Movies except in the beginning which is just superb but LoTR is just BAD. The trouble is I have a horrible feeling Im going to have to watch it again when my Nolotars turn up to refer to :P That was in fact the only thing I actually LIKED about the film. The ships were actually quite cool even though they werent very 'B5ey'. (I mean seriously would it have killed them to include a couple of Nials or a Whitestar or something if only for a few minutes!)

Thirdspace was TOLERABLE and only because of the battle at the end but lets be honest the rest of it was pretty poor. And really it wasnt much of a movie anway, it could easily have just been a couple of episodes at about the season 5 or season 1 level :P

The trouble with B5 is seasons 2-4 set the bar so high most of the rest of it looks very very poor by comparison :D

Thirdspace and River of Souls were very tacked-on. They didn't really need to be there and didn't add much they couldn't have done without. A Call to Arms advanced the story and set the stage for Crusade. Now, if only that had been worth the effort... :?

If it wasn't for the fact I'm on the other side of the world, in the complete opposite time zone I would have replied to warn you. But now its probably too late, I just have to hope that you are not too traumatised. My friend gave me Lotr and said "here, you can keep this" and I said "Wow dude! thanks". Then I watched it. It's a shame you can't unwatch things.
