Thank you all for the complements so far :D.

I've got some more pics of my Earthforce stuff now, along with some pics of some of my Raider stuff to show off.

First off is my now completed Nova.

Next, is a picture of my WIP Avenger beside said Nova.

Anyone think the Avenger is a bit off looking at all? The Avenger is actually a scratchbuild, from balsa and styrene. I would never have thought of using balsa if I hadn't seen the ships that Sean-Khan showed off in the Scratchbuilding an Omega thread. It really wasn't that difficult to build at all, but I need to remember to seal the woodgrain before I add any details next time. As it is, it passes the three foot test, but up close it's rather fugly.

Next, are a pair of WIP scratchbuild/kitbashed crusade era ships.

As yet unnamed and unstatted Raid level cruiser:

Unamed, but mostly statted Raid level Escort Carrier/Variant-Interdiction Cruiser:

Last, we have my Raider Battlewagon and some scratchbuilt (easiest scratchbuild ever :p ) Delta V flights, and a WIP Darkhawk conversion.
Apologies for blurriness, I'll replace them with better pics as I am able.

Is the bow letter on the Nova a decal or hand-painted? I'm also not sure if there's something else, perhaps an EA logo, under the large bow gun. If you can print decals, I'll put my JPG of Nova decals somewhere accessible. (Interesting thing about the Nova: mine, at least, came with 16 long and 4 short turrets. There are 18 positions for them. All screen shots seem to show that all turrets should be the same size. I had to use two of the short turrets so I put them on the bow, but used long ones everywhere else. Everyone else seems to prefer to use all the short turrets. Which means some of you should have spare long turrets. I'm willing to do a swap. :))

The "unnamed and unstatted Raid level cruiser" looks like Hyperion: The Next Generation. Top and bottom superstructure looking like a submarine's, a "chin" under the bow, and a new style engine unit. The Hyperion is one of my favourite EA ships and one of the few to serve all the way from Early Years to Crusade; when the time finally comes to replace it, that looks like a worthy successor.

Nice work on the Darkhawk, as well. And there seems to be some sort of Narn ship trying to get itself introduced to us. ;)

Very nice

the Dark Hawk is great - nice conversion really looks like a missile boat :)

Like the Escort carrier - looking forward to reading more about it...........

AdrianH, even if he doesn't want the decals, would you mind posting them? I'm working on a Nova as well, and would appreciate it greatly.

Very nice BraveSirRobin.

Particularly liking the new EA ships style & Avenger also looks fine to me.

Nighthawk is excellent.

Here are decals for both Omega class Agamemnon and Nova class Schwarzkopf.

The image is 300 dpi. Also shown are 1" x 0.1" and 20mm x 2mm bars so you can check they print out the right size.

@ Brave Sir Robin: did you use Titanium series' Trade Federation cruiser parts for those kitbash EA ships? Must've been a lot of hard work..

They look so good that I'm tempted to copy them but that's a lot of hard metal to saw through... :(

Nah, they're actually halves of General Grievous's ship from the Star Wars Space battles game from Wizards of the Coast, and the engine pod for the Hyperion-looking one is from a Nebulon B. :)

It was meant to be a battlewagon from a different raider faction, or a corporate mining barge.. but when I look at it, I think about the Pak'ma'ra... :?

Great idea M1ndridr3rs.

Always had a problem with the Mongoose colours for the Pak myself. Pak are everywhere but nobody pays them any attention, doesn't quite mesh with bright yellow, red flash colour scheme for me, plus the fact that with no control hierachy can't see any PAK being too worried about matching a std look for their fleet.

Pak could be buying them already re painted to a std scheme, as part of the purchase deal but even then different race supplied ships would probably have slightly different colour pallets.

Still to decide the look of my own PAK fleet but certainly want to make them look more subdued and uncared for at least in paintwork terms.

Nice paint job.

Thank you for the endorsement..

Interesting thoughts on the Paks.. For me they could be of any scheme that looks dirty.. Real dirty..

Here's a T'loth I did the other night.

EDIT:

and finished her consort this weekend..

Here are a pair of PsiCorp Shadow Hunters I recently finished:

I pretty much used the same technique as I have with other Shadow-like ships:

1. Spray prime with black;
2. Paint with several coats of Floquil NATO Black;
3. Apply a wash of silver multiple times.

I cannot list the paint/water ratio I used, since I adjusted it to be more silver between each coat. I think I applied at least four coats. I am more satisfied with this result than what I achieved with the other Shadow ships since the silver is more noticeable. I photographed it under florescent lights so the lighting conditions aren't the best.

Although I havn't posted here recently I have been painting more ships and more rapidly than I ever have, around 40 since my Dargan.

Anyway here is a couple of shots of a Vorchan I painted over the weekend, the first shot also showing another, notorious Centauri ship in mid paint next to her

The Vorchan mini was a realtively poor cast and I left some of the damage on, suits what I have in mind for her.

I intend to put some markings on both of them but after watching some B5 at the weekend the canon Centauri markings seem to have a life of their own.

Nice work, especially the "brickwork" on the Vorchan!

There's a screenshot here which shows the markings on the Vorchan.

I downloaded a Centauri font some time ago, but can't find it on the Internet again now. Included are the symbol on that Vorchan, the symbol seen on a Primus, and of course enough other symbols for you to give individual markings to an entire Centauri fleet - worth looking for...

Thanks AdrianH, thats the same as I saw on the shadow tech controlled Vorchans at the tale end of series 5. What threw me was I thought the "comma" was facing the wrong way, so I crossed checked against the ship manual and some others painted ships and they were curling the opposite way. (started thinking which is correct, CGI error or photo transposition and by this time, had spent too much time on research and not enough on painting )

Also going to add the Chevrons on the horizontal wings, taking again from series 5 canon, and are a bit more complex that simple lines. Still some good shots in in the couple of episodes around "The Fall of Centauri Prime"

The font does sound valuable, I may already have it, vaguely remember downloading some fonts couple of computers ago, which hopefully still might be hiding somehwere on my back up passport.
