Explosive Power/Two-Weapon Strike

Now I can see that too. I am not sure how we have handled crits in our game, but wasn't aware everything was multiplied, I think we have been only multiplying weapon damage. And with bardiches it's X3, geez.

Yeah and if you take into account Greater Critical (Bardiche would be 18-20), and Greater Weapon Specialisation (total +4 damage, and +2 to hit by default) it gets really, really sick.

2d10+4 damage, +2 to hit, critical 18-20(x3), and thats just from weapon feats

Now, as for the debate over Explosive Power, I don't much like the feat myslef but I don't think it is "the most broken feat evar". If you are using full PA then that means two things: 1)you probably have good odds of forcing a massive damage save on a successful hit, even without crit damage and 2)you probably have lousy odds of hitting on anything much less than a 20
Later.

You could use EP with other techniques as well. If you feint a target, evern if you have to attack on next round, as EP is a full round action, he will be at DV10. A character using EP don't loose all his attack bonus, only hes base attack bonus, so he will sill have str, feats, and others to aply to his attack roll. As I said, my character is a thief/barbarian, so this is the way I intended to use the feats.

Now a character attacking another with good DV, that could be hard to hit with the full EP penalty from PA.

You're still better off taking your itterative attacks. Lets say your BAB is +6 and your Str is 17. Using just a simple broadsword in two hands with Full PA your damage on a successful hit is:
1d10 + 17 -> average dmg 21 points.

Now its true that DR can be problematic when your avearage damage is 22, but this is not the end of the story!

When your BAB hits +11 your damage on a successful hit goes up to:
1d10 + 27 -> average damage 31

That will force massive damage even against full plate + great helm. And this character gets two more itterative attacks ie: two more chances to force that massive damage save. And he has one more feat than the guy with explosive power.

So yeah, explosive power is a nasty feat, it certainly pushes the limits of balance, but I don't feel that it is the worst feat ever written mostly because of the diminishing retruns it delivers as you level.

Two weapon strike is a feat that all Two weapon fighters needed to fight those fully armored foes...
But I didn´t understand if the the sneak attack was added once per attack or once per weapon... in this feat and how it is defined in AE, its once per attack... but i think it sould be added twice it makes more sense as what happens in this kind of attack is two weapon that strike the same spot, so your hability with sneak would had both sneak rolls... the only problem is that is really unbalances the game... it gives to much damage...
but a thief using this feat while an enemy is flatfooted he is only losing Sneak attack dice...

To make it balanced... i think sneak attack in this attack should be treated as a special combat hability.

If the enemy was in condition of being sneacked it would count as just one attack and adding just the normal number of (d8/d6).
But if you wanted to be able to use full sneak attack you would have to use this combat manouve.
Dance of the Twin Blades: Needs TWS, Sneak attack ability and Improved Two weapon Fighting.
When you Attack with an TWS attack and the defender would suffer from normal sneack attack you chose not to add sneack Dice, instead you take a penalty of -2 to your DV and had 2(d8/d6)
You may take this penalty Several times in an attack but the number of times you do this may not be biger than the number of Sneak dice that you would normaly have.
This penalty lasts until your next turn.
The penaltys are cumulative if you use them more than once per turn

It would go like...
"you want to use your total sneak attack?
Missed and now you´ve just dropped your total DV To 7, pepare to become pulp!"

Note that this was just an idea so that the TWF Thief/Soldier Thief/borderer or pirate wouldn´t lose one of their main powers.
That in their many attacks they had sneak attack damage while flanking or oponent is flatfooted...
Well i think that the combant manouver unbalances the fighting one on one, but hey that guy just dropped more than -10 to is DV so he can have more Dice than a normal sneack attack...
I thought about it and it gives the character a compensation for the sneack dice lost if he made two attacks agaist a flatfooted oponent

Today i´ve been only thinking of house rules... i´really need to play conan more often

Feel free to use it as a house rule... i´m gonna propose this to my GM... but i know he won´t like it much... he likes to play by the book...
But has his set of interesting house rules...
