Burger's 2nd ed ship sheets \o/

Next addition is complete... ACTA Attack Simulator (AAS)!

It calculates an average attack from one ship against another. Damage done, crew loss, number of crit effects, etc. It's all average-based, not random, so it does not simulate rolling dice. You will always get the same results when using the same ship and the same target. It works out how good one ship should be, in theory, against another.

Enjoy

Cool, but I don't get any critial hits. Fire a Shadow Ship and I get an average of 6 hits and 0 crits. It should be 2 avg crits shouldn't it?

It's not just the Shadows. No precise weapons seem able to score criticals - I tried a Vorlon light cruiser and a Minbari Tigara. Maybe the program is subtracting 1 from the damage roll when it should be adding?

Fire a Shadow Scout at a White Star and I don't get the option for the scout trait giving fire redirection. On the other hand, I do get the option for "Concentrate all fire", which a Shadow Scout can't do, but is effectively the same as scouting.

Going the other way, the White Star should be able to do both scouting and "Concentrate all fire" but can't. Moreover, the calculator fires the beam first, doing no damage but dropping the Shadow Scout's shield; then it fires the molecular pulsars, not getting many criticals. Any White Star commander who fires the weapons in that order deserves what the Shadow Scout will do to him next turn. :)

Abbai comms disruptors do hull and crew damage. Shadow fighter dispersal tubes and jump point disruptors don't, mainly because the program gives an error message while trying to calculate them.

Precise weapons now do crits properly :)

Read the "Known issues" on the front page for most of the other problems...
Scout rerolls not implemented, just use CAF as a workaround.
Selecting weapon order not implemented yet.

Hmm Comms Disrupters and fighter dispersal tubes etc... probably gravitic shifters and other "non weapon" weapons too, I'll have to disable them... for now, use common sense :)

You can now choose the order that weapons will fire in.
Also non-damaging weapons such as fighter dispersal tube and comms disruptor are removed.

It would be cool if you could produce a table with like weapon ad traits for vs traits agaisnt and damage caused so that it could be used in a game as where i play i don't have access to a pc. Also it would act as reference to see how lucky someones being.

Just noticed that the Amu Mothership doesn't have the Kama're Sas Patrol Cruiser available as a swappable option. I imagine it doesn't come up often...

Now updated for Powers and Principalities :D Please let me know of any typos...

New ships and ship changes are done. Some of the other things like FAP changes will be done tomorrow.

Also expect a Space Station Construction Set and raiders ship builder at some point...

Its not all bad

The Centauri get a great new carrier to deal with any problems with fighters at low levels AND the Hunting Pack rule.

:P
