Same thing in our group. We always make it a point to announce to the opponent that we are "center-lining" this ship. It takes all of 2 seconds and can save several minutes of debate and discussion later on.

Give me a few more weeks with no forward advancement on this system / resupply and I'll be ready to sell my fleets, too.
