Those (alleged) maps are worthless. You can barely read the rimward end and the coreward end is just noise.

They are great if you un-tilt them. Those maps are worthless. You can barely read the rimward end and the coreward end is just noise.
They're a free resource someone (who posts here) did for others and I can read the name of every adventure (if I forget the system names at the very top I can look at them on Traveller Map). Those (alleged) maps are worthless. You can barely read the rimward end and the coreward end is just noise.

Agreed! this should be something maintained because it can actually sell product: ("hmm.... my players might head to this region, what adventures have already been set there so I can do a little less homework on the region that I might do otherwise")Just a thought, but a real help to players would be a document that has every world cross-referenced to an available adventure or amber zone or map. Bonus to this would be a notation of where the subject was published (including which edition, so players can find the source material). If you really wanted to go over the top with this, it could become a "living document" that is regularly updated as new Traveller material is published.
Such an idea is very much in mind...("hmm.... my players might head to this region, what adventures have already been set there so I can do a little less homework on the region that I might do otherwise")
YES! That would be an excellent graphical version of my idea! I'd have to say though that a written table of entries would be great as well, as more formats is equivalent to more player reach.Someone did a very nice job with that for the Reach. Not my work, I just refer to this for my game. View attachment 6479
Outstanding!Such an idea is very much in mind...
So... what would you all like to see?
. . . Like sets of D6's with different color schemes and graphics, like an Imperial themed set with maroon with gold numbering with 6 over an Imperial starburst, . . .
Macaroons?Note, that is MAROON, *not * MAGENTA . . .
(Dark-Blood-Red to Reddish-Brown, NOT Reddish-Purple, NOT Burgundy . . . )
Everyone knows that maroon is a colour but Magenta is a domestic.)Note, that is MAROON, *not * MAGENTA . . .
Make some noise about Hinterworlds and Old Expanses and you might well be rewarded...For the 50th? Just more content to read, collect and run games in.
A Lords of Thunder campaign would be great.
As an obsessive Sector Collector I'd love MGT2 sourcebooks for:
Glimmerdrift Reaches
Crucis Margin
Numbis
Leonidae
Hinterworlds
Old Expanses
Far Frontiers
Yiklerzdanzh
Mendan
Amdukan
Arzul
Empty Quarter
Stars End
Anyway, keep up the good work!
Numbis
Plus the spinward end of Sha Elden Lith Kindriu.I think this would be a great sector to develop. It is the confluence of K'kree, Hiver and human space. I think its premier subsector would be Torrent, which features an interstellar "river" of star systems where the three empires meet and there is at least one minor race empire as well.
