I fixed the chart above. Sometimes you just don't catch things until after you post them. I was thinking of that old television show Buck Rogers in the 25th century.
Well its not in the 25th century, and instead of Buck Rogers I was thinking of having 100 people from the 21st century. They would travel to the classic Traveller era in a vehicle that looks like this:
The launch configuration looks like this:
This vehicle is designed to send 100 people to Mars at a time. In this case this vehicle was sent for another purpose, dating from the mid-21st century, this colonial transporter had 100 early experimental low berths in it. A number of people with terminal diseases were selected for this experiment, in exchange their remains were sent into space, it was verified that the freezing process occurred without ice crystalization, and cellular tissue was preserved. Some of the test subjects were thawed out, but unfortunately no means of reviving them was found, so the remaining corpsicles were send into a wide orbit around the Sun beyond Saturn's orbit, so they would remain frozen at liquid nitrogen temperatures. Following the invention of the Jump Drive and the chaos of the First Interstellar War, these men and women were forgotten about, Until a cruiser, owned by the illegitimate offspring of Emperor Strephon descovered the floating derelict while cruising through the Solar System. Unofficial Princess Aria Sung, her Mom, was a servant of the Imperial household, and after a rbief fling, the Emperor sent her away with some Hush money after he found out she was pregnant. Elora Sung was miffed by the shabby treatment she got, and she began plotting to seize a throne for her child, who she thinks is the proper heir to the Iridium Throne. Aria was raised as a spoiled princess, and she flies around in a heavily armored Super yacht/Destroyer, basically it is a recommissioned military vessel that was repurposed partially as a Superyacht but also with a launch bay and hangar for 30 fighters and other subsidiary vehicles. The Colonial Transport was brought into one of the hangar bays, and some of the people inside were revived. Turns out they were ancient Terrans, the Princess then saw a means to an end, she threw in with the Solomani movement, and uses the revived terrans as pawns in her power play to gain independence from the Third Imperium. She tells the Terrans that the Imperium has invaded the Terran System, and she recruits them to help free Earth from the Imperial yolk!
