The subject says it all.

Will there be spotting rules inthe rulebook, because I think it ads a lot to strategy and tactics used on the field of battle.

Works pretty well with another game I know.

i hear there will be off the board artilery avalable , so possably soe form of spotting maybe needed, BF-evo is about flow and a little abstract to get to rules bogged down so spotting may or maynot be part of it.

I wasn't realy aiming at off-board artillery.

I think I read in a S&P that when you take a ready action before moving, no line of sight can be traced if you are out of a certain range.

So, what I realy was referring to is the ability to move slowly (as in sneaking) and quick (as in running).

If you move slowly as in crawling, maybe it will be harder to spot you and you could get to better cover without drawing fire for instance.

If you stand still (to ambush or something else...) within cover, it will be harder (sometimes) to see you than when you're firing your gun.
etcetera etcetera ...

While spotting for artillery will be a nice add-on to the game also.

You mean "snoopin and poopin" rules. Just have to wait and see. There is alot of rules I want to see. Advance Command Control rules, building and fortification rules, air rules, artillery rules, ect. Just have to wait.

In the meantime I'm carving off the headdresses of some of my MEA, they now sport berets, helmets and some are bearheaded.

nothing quite so advanced, but there's a covered advance rule, IIRC it's mentioned on one of the preview pages.
