OGL Steampunk: Pixies?

Has anyone else besides me noticed that the illustrations for the races in OGL Steampunk includes pixies and no gnomes, while the text includes gnomes but no pixies?

I'm guessing last minute change of plans and no time to get new artwork, but I'm wondering if the Mongoose staff can give is the "behind the scenes" story for that?

What no Mongoose behind-the-scenes hilarious story about how Pixies had to be taken out of the game because of how incredibly unbalanced they were?!? How disappointing.

*partial* answer is right. I still wanna know what happened to the pixie/faerie race from the artwork! And why gnomes were added in their place.

Yeah, that was driving me frickin' NUTS when I was reading the book. I was flipping all over trying to find the race in there.... NOTHING! At least it's not just me... I would love to have a web enhancement with them in it..
