Fleet Box / ship colors

I'm new to the B5 miniatures, but since I'm old to B5, they really interest me. Here's a question:

If I were to buy, let say a Narn Fleet Box, would I have to paint the models? i.e. I saw this ship on the Mongoose site, but I cannot tell if someone painted it like this or if you buy there like this painted:

yes you have to paint the ships yourself.

though you may encounter a hallway full of narn with bats...

i bought the Minbari reinforcements box 4 months ago...its build but it aint painted....as long as I'm on the subject, my Eldar from Warhammer 40K arn't painted, and parts of that army are over a year old! I'm lazy and need to be inspired to paint, or I just lose my focus too fast

dude, it would be sweet if the Narn came painted...what a pain in the butt compared to any other race!!! then you have the wonderful Shadows that just need a coat of black primer and some clear coat lol. anyone want to sell a painted bin'tak lol (but seriosly i'll take one off someones hands if they wanna part w/ it)???

No you are right! I get very lazy and uninspired as well. The thing is that I am getting married soon so all my free time has been spent on that and my house is still in the process of being moved into and I have been there for three years. Excuses, excuses, I know but still I want to paint my armies (40K, Battletech, B5 ACTA) in a clean house with plenty of space, everything in its place and a place for everything. Otherwise I get guilty feelings that I should be maintaining a nice house on the block .

It would be nice if models where made for those who want to paint and those who dont I hate pre painted and assembled models personaly the plastic is just not the same I like to paint and custome my stuff. I agree though that if you want your stuff to look like ti dose in the show its nearly immpossible to do.
