Dilgar war supplement

Given the suden interest in the Dilgar war, and without knowing just what Mongoose will be planning, I am prepared to do a 2nd ed Dilgar war supplement. this is not to take anything away from Rich bax's excelent 1st edition work, and quite frankly, if he was goign to do a 2nd ed version, I would can mine immediately. However I notice we already have some fine work being done, therefore I propose I just Collate stuff from other people, plus the odd bit I will do myself. so with TGT's and da Bosss' approval (amongst others). and also open it up to people who fancy a bit of fun. does anyone have objections? or are you all up for this? Scenarios and Images always welcome!
 
Well as i've just ordered a Dilgar fleet, and have started making a few new Raider ships to use for Da Boss's Dilgar era raiders list......Go for it 8)
 
oh Hell yeah :D - I mught tweek the raiders a bit - as TG suggests - I'm not sure about allowing any allied ships - seems a bit wrong as they already have salvaged ships.............?

I have a whole Magnificent 7/ BBtS style mini campaign buzzing around in my head.

I think you should remove allied ships, but thats just my opinion
 
I took them out but was toying with the idea...........

well setting up a game for 4 newbie ACTA players tonight so can't do too much new stuff :wink:
 
when you say allied you don't mean ship stats from otehr fleets you mean proxies?
I'd be against a hodge podge of different ships as thats just building on strngths across the whole fleet listings..not something raiders could do very well

stick to the classes of ships you have and i'd suggest max at Raid level...the name give sit away really....and then just suggest hulls to represent ships....
also i ahve a raider fleet for 3 pt raid if u need to borrow anything for the tourney ?
 
I was just going to us a mix of made up ships and some of my Centauri ships as proxies (I can do proper ship sheets for them)

but I think its right to have no allied ships................ :D
 
well its the only time i can see my raider ships being used competitively so it seems a shame for you not to use them...you're call

hmm, well EA already has a good selection of Ships, but i think maybe a couple of unique ships/crews, and a leader or two is doeable :-)

ok then, i have devised 2 ships for the brakiri, we have a markab fleet and raiders, I also have one ship for the Abbai. I think the Vree are mostly ok as is, drazi, i think another ship would be nice. Anyone fancy doing some balosian stuff? no, wait, have I done balosian stuff for first ed (and by me, i mean um, well, morgoth! ) I'll do some characters and a ship or two for the EA and I think the Dilgar are mostly fine, but I'll review it all.
 
i think it 4 or 5 raider carriers with lots of delta's as i cut them off the ships!

also makes the raider ship lethal to anyone trying to move it....

personally not too fussed at that, I am allowing it for the campaign weekend. I am also in mid design for a fore runner for the supplement.

Avrokta War Cruiser - Battle

The Avrokta was the forerunner of the Avioki. Built on the same hull, it was the first real attempt by the Brakiri to produce a serious war like vessel in response to Dilgar attacks against league members. Despite it's solid armour and fearsome close range weaponry, this vessel lacked any real long range power, and it's slow speed often meant it took a pounding long before it could bring it's weapons to bear. Most of these vessels were eventually sold off to corporations for their large cargo capacity, or upgraded into the more powerful Avioki.
