Hiff, a couple of requests for the Dilgar war -
Can the EA have an Olympic-class cruiser?
This is a scaled-up Olympus, designed as heavy cruiser before the Hyperion came along.
Actually, just a way of extracting some use from the old, overlarge Olympus mini.
Fluff - the ship is Raid PL, hull 4, about 30 damage and crew, armed with F/P/S plasma cannon, turreted rail guns and F-arc missiles, and carries a flight of fighters. Interceptors - 1, AF - zero. She's slow - 6", 2/45 - and was phased out in favour of the Hyperion due to her low endurance, poor defences and lack of a jump engine. IS say 2170-2248, last ones dying against the Minbari?
And for the Dilgar, any chance of the Delegor suicide frigate?
In B5W these were introduced in 2232 when the Dilgar were going down and getting desperate. They consisted of a large engine, a small bridge, a couple of Anti Fighter guns, several thousand tons of metal, and a throttle fixed open at 'ramming speed'.
One of them took out the EA's Admiral Hamato and his Nova class flagship over Omelos in the last battle of the war, so probably a scenario-specific nasty rather than general issue.
Something like Skirmish PL, Hull 5, 40 damage, no crew score, ignore crew loss results (one very determined pilot in a very heavily armoured cockpit), speed 6, 2/45, no weapons, AF - 2, special traits - may use the 'Give me ramming speed!' SA without being crippled at any time (no CQ check needed), may not use any other SAs or damage control. Cannot be boarded - hatch welded shut before launch. Will need playtesting...
