It's funny. I go out and mention that Future Force Warrior might be canceled, and people here are too busy picking on a poor guy who isn't very photogenic. :roll:

I wouldn't be surprised if the Army keeps the name "Force Warrior", with the final design being more a "Land Warrior Mk. V".


On a side note, now that I'm taking a good look at this guy, he does look like he needs to go, doesn't he.

Huh, seems I got my program names mixed up. Though they say they are folding what they learned in Land Warrior into Force Warrior.

It's a ploy to get more money for the program. It's popular amongst the army, the equipment has show it can do the job, so what happens when they're issues with funding? You threaten to either underfund or kill a populrar poject...tends to make the purse strings loosen pretty quickly...
