Going to TESCO today to see what I can find, then to hombase to buy cork, then to the local model shop to buy some plasti-card.

Wait 'n see lads.

 dont get lost again

slap slap slap slap slap slap slap...

oh and slap.

shut up! Bunghole!

And I got very annoyed, local TESCO doesn't sell the sets you have. Abingdon officially sucks!
Expensive petrol, rubbish Tesco! What next...

Oh and I live there :D.

And Laurie.

So, I was gonna resort to, can I send u money to get some from your local? :D

damn it!

Yeah I would like that :P.

Just dont whale on me. Everything I do or say to drive you mad, take it out on LBH.

Or reborn...

ok this is a ew bits layin about my dining room table at the moment, all non mgp figs, but at a scale of 1:64

ps the mongoose prepaints beat these so hands down its not comparable !!!

lol

like i said currently these are the best prepaints on the market in this type and scale, and like i said the mongoose ones wipe the floor with them.

the greys are suposed to be african americans and the pinkys are suposed to be whites lol and they are all very bendy, wich is good when they kids drop them.

Double lol   . They are bendy? *imagines how those green army men looked as they where set on fire* erm, I mean, I never torched an entire platoon  .

(I don't know how bendy relates to tanker fire, but still...)

Where did you get them, and what did you pay for them? I played a proxy game with my son this weekend using simple green army men, but these might make reasonable proxy troops for him in the future. I'd rather not let him and his brothers risk breaking/losing my main minis.

:?

in the interest of fairness to mongoose, if you wish, pm me but its best left of the boards, as they are not good representtions of the game in quality compared to the true articals, for kids to knock about YAY.

Mr. Evil's minis are corgi 1/64 scale minis from the Tactical Strike series

the series includes a set of 6 US Army guys (101 abn) ,a set of 6 USMC guys, an M1, an M2 Bradley, a hard shell Hummer. There is a soft side from Johnny Lightening that fits well with them too

I always thought the vehicles are more expensive than they are worth - but nice looking - and they are in that nether region - not "Standard 20mm" not "Standard 25/28mm"

The figs in the picture are the marines - the 101st are in green camo - more like old school BDUs

They can be found on ebay - check out these auctions

Item number: 300053859876
Item number: 300053857665

I do hope to supplement my Bevo guys with these figs - hmmm - 6 sets of 6 guys - 36 troops - $30 w/ shipping that is 3 1/2 squads to one and more fig variety to boot - we shall see if it works out

well out of each pack 4 are usable the other 2 are surplus, but it can add some variety. so a basic squad is 2 packs, each fire team is one pack.

but again in fairness to mongoose, this minis are nowhere as good as the proper jobs, ive got some as i dont intend in any way to collect yanks as such, apart from our little american civil war.

ok ive added a lorry to my terrain, actualy 2 but they are big :)

and have done another display on how the scatter car terrian can look (i like to play)

also note the figs are now rebased on 20mm discs to give them a bit of weight and so they look less like toys lol.

So you based up and finished the bases of figures you don't intend to use :D

I wish had time to work on minis that I don't plan to use 8)

The photo looks very good, my compliments. The weathering is quite effective.

In my humble opinion the truck (lorry) looks fine :!:

Good call. I was just looking for something cheap and smaller in scale than big green army guys for the boys. Dad will have his own big boy toys. :D

Definitely like the lorry.

cheers the lorry is good for scale, as in big i mean its a good bit of terrain, you can hide 2-3 tanks behind it ofr example :D

Looking real nice mate.
Will the cars you used match up to normal 28mm very well? If not, don't worry about getting them for the open day for me. :)

for sst they are way to small, due to heroic proportions, for hammer slammers its fine.

mr evil ... always have been a fan of your stuff. it all looks great . the best figs out there i think are the devil dog design guys . there great but arent the bevo scale . i wish they where the same scale oh well . mr evil love those cars! great work!!
