BF-Evo city scape (pics on 1-8) update 14-feb

Dude - looking very sweet - a little weathering and you'll be the bell of the ball :!: :!:

can't wait to see it all put together :D

BTW - what is the length and width of your Corgi M1 & your B Evo resin M1 & Chally?

Ouch! I got canned  ! Looks neat, maybe I should use some pepsi cans laying around for such a thing.

PS Evil, you should replace your blade or learn how to cut foamcore right! Oh and would you like some signs and posters to print out to decorate your city with? I have a lot that you could use :)

cool posters would be good.

as for cuts on wall like i say these are just WIP they wont evan be grey when ive finished i just did the spray to see how they ballanced, there will need to be treadmarks through gates from vehicles going in and out, ad it will probably have a more middle eastern look to it or something, im going to get the city built befor i do a final paint as i plan to use sprays and paints in a consistant manor with detals later, then all waethred together, should be finished by end of march i hope !!! but playable by end of this month.

as i go il keep you updated.

many thanks

all measurments exclude barrel length

124mm for corgi MI

125mm resin mgp M1

118mm resin mgp chally 2 (including rear barrels)

Note MGP modles are preproduction and the turret on the M! looks very different to the one now in production.

hope thats of some help

ok first few pinned counters painted. yes ive kept them simple for play purposes only.

im quite pleased with them for their simplicity.

a two pence piece is 27mm.

they came out a bit dark from painting but thats not to much of a problem as it helps keep them generic.

Latex is brilliant, its very detailed and relitivly cheap and easy to get hold of, and unlike plaster it wont break into bits.

Thanks - I appreciate it!

The suppression counters are cool - NOW I know what to do those Corgi guys I bought in a fit of scale related angst

As you said they are too small and not nearly as nice as the real deal figs :!:

Looking to go pure B Evo figs at this point

my mate poped over this afternoon for some terrain building.

then remebered i ahve some amera stuff on order.

so i measuerd up and the stuff i got on order practicly fills my table, so the chemical plant may never get used !!! we shall have to wait and see when the stuff arrives, as it was only a £20 tester order, but if stuff works well then £20-30 more will probably furnish rest of table !!! thats a 4X6 area.

there is a great article in this months wargames publication (both of them) one uses the amera stuff and gives advice on what and how to do it, def a good read and worth picking up.

ok small game on the board (il do pics) is planned for tommorrow night.

each force will be identicle green V tan

its basicly my 2k force split in 2 for each side.

1k from hiros cards is equal to

1 Tank (m1a2)
2 squads of infantry
3 Shadows (unit of one and a unit of 2)

that makes a nice 20 fig per side, and a 15 fig break limit,

(((((((((((((((((>note for my 2k list double these numbers and double again for my 4k (non official figs)<))))))))))))))))

yanks seem to work well at one tank per 1k, and shadows at 70 points ech are a steal as you can use them to remove enemy armour, or dug in infantry.

il add pics of each force later tonight.

ok terrain is still in post to me so we just used what was at hand, and it was done as a friendly where we would push units to do odd stuuf and real things and see how they coped, to be honest ot worked great.

the green M1 was destroyed bye shadows on its flank that had shot up the table on my first turn.

def good fun, cant wait to use proper minis so we can see what weapons they carry easier :D

Looked like a good game. Hopefully I will be playing soon.

And the scenery looks awesome. Something I have learnt from seeing your stuff is that simplicity can look great. :)

Lemme guess, your table is called "Gunfight at the Ruins of Chernobyl" or "Nuke 'em until they glow in the dark, and then shoot 'em" .
