ACTA Tournament June 2011 - Warlords of Walsall!

I "may" be able to get a room for december (1st week), I could run a pre christmas B5 tourney if anyone was interested. would like to consider a doubles tourneywith 3 larger games,

if it seems their might be enough interest i'll confirm the room availability, and date.
dunno whether to run doubles or a campaign style.

Yeah, problem with that is he just went up this weekend, probably won't be going again so soon. But we shall see.

I'll probably be going solo so depending on where it is, and where people are, I can do lifts in return for petrol money, or better yet, give me a lift and I'll pay petrol money ;)

Something about going 'up' is making me think this is somewhere like scotland :)

You can count me in matey... and, I would dare to say that Clanger (Paul), Greg and probably a-n-other from the kettering crew would attend as well.

right ho, given that I may be able to get a few players up here out of retirement for a tourney, should get the min number to make it viable. Need to go back tothe shop and discuss it now.
House Rule... Porfatis are banned ;-)

Hi

How easy would it be for a B5 ACTA newbie to play? I have played a couple of games a couple of years ago, but couple of regulat players have left our local club. There are another couple of guys locally who might play B5 ACTA but not sure.

What are the current rulesets? I have 2nd ed rulebook. What else would I need?

Cheers

James

Well Stormrider is fairly new to B5 ACTA and is coming pback for more :)

I can't guarentee you will win but you should have fun as we are all pretty friendly (?)

2nd ed rulebook is a good start - have you got the fleet book / P+P?

Cool

Fleet book yes.
P&P no.

How important is P&P- can I make do without it?

Cheers

James

I would say that you can quite easily do without the P&P sourcebook, I very rarely need to refer to it :D
Like Da Boss says, we're a friendly bunch of chaps, and we're always keen to play new opponents... just don't get me in the 1st round
