Quick question from a novice who hasn't got anyone to turn too to answer a basic question.

The AP weapons are stated as haveing a +1 added to their Results Dice. What reuslts Dice?
Is this +1 for the initial throw against the targets hull, to see the number of resulting hits,
or +1 against the damage results table for each hit.
or both.

(The same question for weak weapons).

Thanks

Add it to your Attack Dice. So, if you roll a 5 against a ship with Hull 6, an AP weapon will add +1, giving you a successful hit.

Weak also affects your to-hit roll only. So against a hull 5 target, you will need a 6 to hit with a weak weapon.

The weapon trait that affects the damage result is "precise".

Also, justin case anyone is wondering, when rolling against hull scores a 1 is always a miss and a 6 is always a hit.

So Weak weapons need a 6 to hit a Hull 6 ship, and Super AP weapons need a 2 or better to hit anything with Hull 3.

Yup, this is correct.

SAP Beams miss a hull 3 ship on 1's, but the next beam round will still be hitting on 2's, then 3's etc. ;)

True Burger, my apologies for not including that clarification.
