I started with Conan right at it's inception...and took a break about 9 months ago. The players are interested in getting back into it and I had one question...is 2nd edition sorcery better than 1st edition? First edition was so complicated/not enough that we abandoned sorcery altogether...

Listen I love Mongoose and this game...but that doesn't wash with me. If you upgrade a game, or software, or rules....etc, you list the differences from a previoius version...UNLESS, you dealing with Smoke & Mirrors...IE, you hope that it looks prettier than it really is. Some folks already...

I basically chose the feats I felt were best suited for the characters level, taking into consideration prereq's and had them role randomly... As they progress, if they actively seek out training, there will be more 'slots' filled with the trained feats, but there will be chances to get others.
