Saw them today for the first time and am very underwhelmed overall. The pricing is horrendous. Half of the guns are bent, the painting is very hit or miss... just bad. And i realize that it would cost more for prepainted... thing is, I didn't ask them to prepaint them for me. In fact...

What reason is there to recover flights of aircraft? As far as I can see in the rulebook, there are no rules covering reloading bombers, so once torp bombers and dive bombers unload thier payload they are basically there to dogfight spotters and other bombers unless i'm really missing...

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe the result of this picture would be incorrect. The 6 sixes you rolled are only possible critical hits. You then rolls those again, and any 4+ are actual crits that are rolled off, unless I completely missed something.

isn't there a few things in the game that ignore range penalties altogether, and are Destroyers really that dangerous? *ignorance and naivete due to the fact that wednesday will be my first game*

Since you only get two different ships in the revised set, and the one homemade set I've seen on the web doesn't have any ships from the fleet box, has anyone else done any so that someone can try the fleet box out before they buy it? So silly that Mongoose has neglected thier counters...

alright, so I'm mostly new to the B5 universe (not sure how it slipped by me that whole time in the 90's) and new to the game itself. Just wondering if theres any fleet out there that lends itself better to a new player than any other. I played a few games with the Quickstart rules last night...

is there a decent discount spot for GHQ? From what I've been able to find the GHQ ones seem spendy but I absolutely love the models. Great work by the way, the base adds so much to the model.

The Yamato is beautiful, but I'd be singing "Star Blazers" to myself all day while playing it It's bad enough everytime I think of this game, "Sink the Bismark" by Johnny Horton haunts my inner thought ;)

Navwar may have to give Mongoose a big pat on the back for the increase in sales they're going to get in December/January :) I know a block of us in our gaming group are probably all going to do one huge fleet order to them, not to mention alot of other people i've seen here that are planning...
