Noob Question

alright, so I'm mostly new to the B5 universe (not sure how it slipped by me that whole time in the 90's) and new to the game itself. Just wondering if theres any fleet out there that lends itself better to a new player than any other. I played a few games with the Quickstart rules last night and the game is so much less clunky and plays so much quicker than Battlefleet:Gothic. I'm really liking the design of both the Centrati and the Vree fleets (love the Vree for the old school sci-fi feel that they have), a buddy told me to probably start with the Centrati, but what other decent fleets are there for a noob? I would say Centauri or Earth. Don't go with the Vree.

centauri are prob the easiest fleet to use, lots of beams and twinlinked weapons. they were my 1st fleet and i think thyey work for new guys.

^They're very survivable, prolly forgiving for the noob.

Centauri or Earth, either are good for starting with. Narn are also quite good to start with as well. Avoid Vree until you have some experience. They look good but go bang very easily compared with the other fleets and they also have more special rules.
