White Star Gunship

yep. a sharlin can soak up over 90% of damage before being crippled, and same on crew, plus it actually has more crew than a neroon. kill all the crew on a nerron is 50, that still leaves 16 on the sharlin and its still no skeletoned.

Which is just baffling. The Liati is even worse. It would be nice if the newer ships with these much less generous tracks could be explained somehow. Is this a conscious effort by Mongoose to make ships more sensitive to damage? If so, why hasn't it been applied across the board?

The Ka'Bin'Tak and the Adira are in line with their own fleets in terms of thresholds, hull values etc. But the Liati and Neroon, and to a lesser extent the Nemesis are certainly not.

Hmm, even the Marathon isn't particularly good, at 70% thresholds for crew and hull. Comparing it to other Battle ships, like the Omega with 80% and Apollo with 84%... the new ships do not marry in at all well.

The way I see it for the Marathon, you're trading some hull damage and crew to be able to move like a skirmish ship.

It's not the totals that are the issue, it's the percentage of the totals taken to hit a threshold.

Although, in some cases the totals are a big issue also, like the Neroon.
