WHAT DO YOU DO?

After a 4 year stint in the army, I worked in construction and building maintenance. Now I'm a facilities coordinator, which means I'm a bit of a CAD monkey myself !!!

SS

Spent 9+ years in the Army working in Intelligence, Got my B.S. in Information Systems, and now I'm a Dual-Rate manager in the Valet department at a casino in Atlantic City. In a few weeks I will finally start running Conan !!!

I'm 28 years old, married to an awesome wife - puts up with my busy schedule - and we have a beautiful 9 yr. old daughter who I coach in basketball.

I'm a High School Visual Art Teacher, I've got 2 degrees, the first was a Visual Art Degree - major printmaking, minor drawing and painting - and the other one is an Education Degree - majoring in... you guessed it, Visual Art. My favourite artists are Frank Frazetta and Larry Elmore. I also work at a local nightclub as a front doorman - this is how I earn 'MY' fun money.

I played college B'ball for 4 years at the University of Regina - we were ranked 5th in the country at one point. I love playing sports, football, basketball, baseball and ultimate disc to name a few of my favourites. I've been practicing mixed-martial arts for 5 years now - the more I learn the more I realize how ignorant I was in the beginning and still am. I've also been heavily involved in airsoft for the past 3 years. In the past year I've seriously taken up body building - not the massive steriods contests - just the fitness competitions.

I'm the assistant coach to our high-school's football team - we've won provincials (the equivalent of State Champions for you guys in the States) the past 3 years in a row. I also coach high-school B'ball - made it to the City Finals 4 out of my 6 years coaching but have yet been able to win the big game, must be the coaching.

And once a week, thanks to my lovely family for allowing me to indulge once again in another interest, I get together with a group of good buddies and play Conan RPG - we've been playing RPG's together for over 18yrs now!

BTW, I haven't said this before but I really like our community here on these boards. It sure is nice to 'lurk' on these boards and communicate and discuss all things Conan with you guys. I've really enjoyed my time here, thanks.

I am an Assistant District Attorney prosecuting crimes against children. In essence, for all the Law and Order fans out there - I am the prosecutor for the SVU.

Finally, another attorney, albeit one in a significantly different area...

DasClay,
Off topic, but I've been meaning to tell you how much I like your avatar. Very nice design.

Arkobla Conn, so does that mean you have your own office, or do you share with someone else, or are you part of "La Cubical"

Sorry for the late response, I was on a business trip.

I have my own office and desk. I manage 15 of my own employees and 20 of my clients.

What kinda football you like you mean What we call Soccer or do you actully like american Football?

Soccer. It's the most popular sport here in Poland. Oh, and we're doing pretty good in the 2006 World Cup Qualifications - we've won every match except one (lost 2:1 with England) and we're only 1 point behind our group leader (again England). :)

No no no no no...

<American, shuddering>

Police officer, self-defense instuctor (at local college) and firearms instuctor.

Former 2x IFC world champion.

Married, 2 kids, 1 wolf.

Wow, You have a wolf? Cool man way cool
So, 2x Former IFC champ? Thats Great, Ive never done anything like that before. What kinda training would you do for that?

Yep, IFC is the cagefighting thing. I retired back in '98.

I trained six hours a day, six days a week. I lifted weights anywhere from one to two and a half hours per day. I ran a fast mile and a half both before and after weightlighting. I boxed for an hour. And I practiced jujitsu, muay thai, wrestling and shootfighting for two to four hours per day.

Back then I could fight for hours against multiple individuals and literally barely break a sweat.

I was obsessed with fighting and was visualizing techniques all the time. You know how your wife/girlfriend always asks, "What are you thinking?" the answer was always "Fighting."

Actually I think the visualization was just as important as the actual physical techniques in reference to muscle memory. So DnD helped me become a world champion athlete.

Conan and Bruce Lee have been my role models since childhood.
