Vehicle Numeration

I just cracked out 3 Type-99's, and then realized that I dont know how the PLA identifies their vehicles when in a group. I'm just looking at numbers to be painted on the side for quick/easy identification - espescially when campaigning kicks in.

I did find this in Wiki... anybody got any other ideas on how they do it?

And here's the Arabic version from an Egyptian phone. Just bear in mind that Arabic is read right to left. I don't know about Chinese.

from what ive seen they use wester numbers rather than chineese numbers, probably due to easier to recognise symbols at a distance so less chance of confusion

yeppers, plus its more Universal

Although Arabic words are written from right to left, a series of numbers(like 545 or $100,000.00) is written from left to right, just like English.
