Tower of the Elephant: How close to the Howard Story is it?

Just curious as to its accuracy to The REH story...I ask as besides myself, 2 other players have read the story. I ran a different campaign but relied heavily on the desriptions of the tower for my tower in Shem. One of the players says: Is this Tower of the Elephant because I know what is coming....I am concerned about it being enjoyable as they would know what to expect...Thanks!

As I'm sure you recall, Conan managed to essentially 'back door' the tower. He didn't see much of the interior.

got the book today and the word is wow 8) the tower is great but also has a wonderful front map of arenjun and details of the maul so have a city added into the bargain that can be used well after the tower has fallen.the book is full of how conan did it but also suggests other ways the goal can be completed. so as close to the book as you and your group want :wink:
