ok am i reading this right, it can fire twice in a turn ?

this makes it a better option than the M1A2 for points in many ways as they can rip several pla tanks to bits in one turn for alot less points !!!

if the shadow stays as it was for playtesting, then the pla will cry, also will the shadow come with other weapon options in time, as its supposed to replace the hwwmv in many eyes doesnt it need to be as versatile ?

As it stands it would have to be *extremely* lucky to destroy two tanks in one turn, and I mean "two tens on two dice" lucky.

As I recall from my remote location (not with stats to hand) the gun is no better than the Fedayeen AT-14. So don't worry Chinese, you're safe from a fully automatic nuke firing troop transport type thingy, and Americans, don't worry your tanks are still as badass as always.

well playtest was D10+3 a pla tank is kill 11 so you only need a 8 to hit.

2 shots neding an 8+ to kill and a 5 to damage, put a second in the squad and you got 4 dice, enough to garantee a dead pla tank, for 280points.

just thinking to much realy, tried a game and the shadow killed 2 pla tanks in one go !!!

Just got home and checked. You're right about the stats, but it only fires once a turn.

Also worth pointing out that an M1A2 won't collapse into a pile of smoking wreckage if you sneeze on it. . .

dont realy plan on my shadow being shot at though to be honest

but yeah the M1A2 is a harder nut to crack

Also remember that a well played Abrams will take advantage of cover, which greatly reduces the effect of the Shadow. Yes, the Shadow can take the same advantage, but in a duel. . . my money will be on the tank
