P PhilHibbs Mongoose Sep 24, 2006 #1 Speedart does not say "progressive" but the text clearly implies that it should be. Is this a tyop?
A atgxtg Mongoose Sep 24, 2006 #2 I think so. It also doen't give a duration either. By the book, that means that a character could cast Speedart 1 on his arrows and they would still be enchanted years later, if not used.

Every archer would go into battle with a quiver or six of enchanted arrows. That can't be right...

A atgxtg Mongoose Sep 25, 2006 #4 No, it can't. Well, okay, it could be right, but I don't think it is. Since Multimissile has a Duration of 1 I suggest we do the same for Firearrow, and the new progressive Speedart.

M Mugen Mongoose Sep 25, 2006 #6 Actually, RQ2/3 SpeeDart was not Cumulative, so I guess this is the reason why the RQ4 version is not Progressive.

But if it's not progressive, what does the description mean when it says: "...and damage is increased by one point per Magnitude." Either it is suupposed to be progressive, or the description is screwed up. The player's guide PDF doesn't cover any of this.

K kustenjaeger Mongoose Sep 25, 2006 #8 Greetings I think Speeddart is meant to be progressive as the original Speedart was (IIRC) +15%? Regards

H Halfbat Mongoose Sep 26, 2006 #9 It does look like a typo as the description gives progressive qualities. Like Multimissile I think it's missing the Progressive and Duration 1 traits, just as Firearrow is missing the Duration trait (probably Duration 1). I will certainly play it like that to prevent the "quiverful of firearrows" approach.
