I think the state of the goose is a myth. It seems like I have been waiting for one announcement or another all summer and fall, and it just doesnt seem to be happening. Or at least not good news anyway.

Apparently no conversion is needed, from the description:

This is a completely updated volume covering Lankhmar and the world of Nehwon, compatible with both RuneQuest and RuneQuest II.

yeah, I think the general consensus is that we'd much rather like it to be on the 18th than the 30th
