slightly confused by gravitic energy grid X

Hello.
I an a bit confused how this works. Does it affect each seperate weapons hit? or a collective hit from all the same weapons.
A. My Drakh strike cruiser has gravitic grid x2 and is hit by 3 DD missiles from a saggi with normal affect, which would normally do 6/6. Do I lose: a. 4 crew and 4 damage or b. nothing as the missiles do not do enough damage to get through?

It's total damage from a weapons system, not seperate AD. Example: I fire my Advanced Missile Rack and an Adira. The total damage is 6, so the Adira will nullify what it can (not sure what its GEG score is). If I critted with a missile, it will not negate any of it.

to answer on your orginal example you are right, its A. combine the damage from any single weapon system then deduct the GEG although as has been stated it does nothing to stop crits.
