Shadow Skirmish PL ship ideas.

Yep... I'd be happy to see this, using shadows allies or a new "soldiers of darkness" race, but not shadows themselves. Ancient beings would not get into a fisticuffs with the lesser races, it just doesn't make sense!

I tend to agree - but then again the Shadows are quite hands /talons on and accompany Morden and would presumably deal with threats themselves? they also slice up Sheridan a bit in close combat?

I don't think he was referring to Vorlons when talking about "lesser" races, but perhaps "younger" races (as in not Ancients) would have been a more apt description.

Precisely. And Kosh's killing is an assassination, not a brawl which boarding actions would be.

If the Shadows do Assassinations. Why not allow them to attack the Command Trait of a ship / Admrial as a precision strike of Command personell?

Assassination is more like an "other duty" in campaigns.

Ok, just change the ships background to reflect it is carrying 5 Troops worth of Soliders of Darkness. Issue solved, with out having to tweak the ship.

Regarding Shadows in combat, I think they would if need be, as they can move about without being seen by all the races bar the Vorlons and other Ancients. This would make them perfect for assaulting an enemy up close and personal, plus they do have a physical build like that of a giant Praying Mantis so would be quite brutal.

Anyway it is some what off topic, let's try to keep this thread on topic.
