Poseidon or 4 Raid worth of fighters?

The carrier does but the box set still comes with 16 according to the site here. Which is a shame but frankly 16 should be plenty for most games (chances are youll want to swap at least the other 8 for T-bolts anyway!)

Re the Posseidon model, it's big for sure, but personally I'd say its actually a bit lighter than the Octurion (the Posseidon is mostly hollow, wheras the Octurion is solid metal and havent actually used an Adira model ever so cant comment (and frankly I never will since it's dog ugly imo) lastly the model is expensive
;))

Okay. Time for Uncle Dave to dig out the postal scale. Here we are, please make allowances for the additional weight of the bases, 'cause I'm not taking them off for this!
Posidon-> approx. 12 oz
Octurion-> approx. 9 oz
Adira-> approx 14 oz

There you go. And, maybe YOUR Adira looks crappy, mine looks stunning in purple. ;)

Oh, Man! An Octurion can make someone seeing stars as it is... You could actually kill someone with an Adira!

You could just drop it on their foot. That should stop them. I keep my models on the shelf as there are more useful options for self defence in my home. ;>
They are cool models, even if some don't like them. They take more work to make them look good but the end result is usually worth it.

Put it like this, Who the hell wouldn't want a great big carrier in their collection, i mean sure its not the prettiest of models but its got a spartan utilitarien chamr to it, add in the in game stats, lots of close range firepower, command +3, AF6 and launching 8 fighters a turn, come on think like an EA admiral, eggs amd basket people.

now i just need to get a gaim fleet with 2 battle points worth of stuteeka's, 4 lots of 24 fighters, yeah baby.

Indeed. It has an intimidating mass to it. A carrier group is a very inspiring/terrifying look to it on the table.

Depends on how you mean that. I only collect the real deal. If I can't stick someone with it without it breaking, it's not worth buying...

Me as well. BK has seen the swords, axes, and spears that clutter the Fortress of Light and knows of the boom sticks in the gun locker. ;>

eh, as for stick-ems, I could arm a small army.

As for boom-sticks, well, do Tippmans and BT-4s and Spyders count? I got one of them cranked up to 500 FPS...

Depends, do you keep the paintballs in the freezer?

I don't keep boom-sticks around, I might use them on apartment neighbors who return from New Delhi at oh-dark-thirty and leave their luggage piled in front of the door to the building.

They're lucky I didn't spill my EA fleet! :evil:

Well, DUH! Of course he does :roll: Swords are medium range weapons, may hit something by accident (e.g. his fleet).

But with an Adira... Carefully disguised as a harmless miniature, you can strike from mere inches away, without warning :twisted:

:lol: :lol: :lol:

Well, no, but I did recently find some marbles at the Dollar Store that are about the same size and weight as an average .68 caliber paintball...
