One week left of June...

One week left, do we have a release date for the 3 books that are due? :)

Plus the SRD. I have to go "camping" with the Boy Scouts next week (summer camp isn't real camping so I bring my laptop with me). I was really hoping for some night time reading material before Saturday.

Matt? By Saturday will work, right? ;-)

Last we heard (one week ago), spinward marches is at the printer and 760 Patrons is with Marc Miller and Mercenary is in layout. I wouldn't expect the latter 2 this month. I'm hoping that my preorder of SM comes in in early July (since I got it from Amazon).

just so you know- email I got this morning

Dear Retailer Partners,

We have just announced to distributors the impending arrival at our warehouse of the first Traveller sourcebook, the setting book Spinward Marches. It is scheduled to ship out next week for a distributor on sale date of Tuesday 1st July.

MGP 3802 Spinward Marches (Traveller) $29.95

Please be sure to let your distributor know if you need any copies of this book so that order enough copies for demand. As the major setting book for the latest incarnation of Traveller we are expecting it to be popular with customers.

If we can provide any further information, please let us know.

Yes I'm a retailer. Come Vist!

I was expecting them in July some time. Figure that seems to be the new pattern with new books.

But I am not worried, the orders are in with the FLGS and they will get me a copy once they do come out.

We have actually, as of this afternoon, sold out of the Spinward Marches - fortunately, we had the foresight to a) initiate another print run early - will be back in stock next week and b) print more of the next book, 760 Patrons!

So you are saying it should be in this week to the FLGS? Or next week?

Likely next week, depending on where you are. . .

Groovy. I'll take it that applies also to direct orders from Mongoose.

Too much fun stuff coming around. Every week is like "can't come soon enough" :D

I can't wait to get this... I was hoping to get it for my first play session on Sunday... I guess the saying is better late then never. Do you know when it will be in Vancouver, Canada? The first is Canada Day.

What is the status on PDF versions?

...does that mean it won't take a couple of weeks for my copy to get from Slough to Milton Keynes this time? ;) </snark>

Gruffty, based on your comments on the CRB, it may take LONGER this time.

It's a long, cold walk from Slough to Milton Keynes. Slower if you want to antagonize the Hiver!

I bought a new car today (Renault Megane, 1.4, very sexy) and I can wangle an odd day of leave from work next week.

Perhaps the Hiver will arrive on MP's doorstep looking for its book... ;)

It would seem that a Megane would be a difficult fit for a Hiver, and that cars in general would be hard for a Hiver to drive.

I think that an Ithklur will drive the car, which will tow some carriage for
the Hiver ?
