Can anyone point me to canon examples of Vargr or Aslan landed nobles in the Third Imperium? I was thinking of replacing a count or duke with a non-human and just wanted some background info. I know the Imperium is human-centric, but I remember reading somewhere that non-human landed nobles do exist. Thanks in advance.

But while humans expect dogs to be loyal vassals, they may not feel the same about cats. Especially ones bigger than them... ;)

As others have pointed out, Brzk, Archduke of Antares, is a Vargr. The other Vargr noble I am aware is Douzkhozkaegag, Duke of Atsah (Deneb Sector, Pg.92 - Mg1st).

As for Aslan, we have as a prominent example Laearlako, Subsector Duke of Hermes (Clans of the Aslan, Pg.180 - Mg2nd).

I'm sure there are more examples of both, but I'd need to do an extensive bibliographical search to find them.

Douzkhozkaegag is the one I read about, I’m almost sure. Now I’ll go see. Thanks.

EDIT: That was him. I’m glad you cleared it up or it would have bugged me bad.

Hradus is a High Pop Industrial world in the Trojan Reach. It doesn't specify if it's Count or Knight are Aslan but the planet is 80% Aslan.

There's also the Aslan Duke of Sarmaty/Alderamin [SR 0217] who is both the ko of his clan and an Imperial noble.
The highest ranked non-human noble is, of course, Archduke Brzk and note that Antares has been in Brzk's family since the Imperial Civil War. Arbellatra awarded the Domain to Admiral Soegz, one of her principle supporters.
Not canon but in the 'no Rebellion' setting of GT: Nobles, Archduke Adair of Sol was seriously considering asking Emperor to promote the Vegan Duke of Muan Gwi to Subsector Duke of Vega Subsector to put the conservatives and racist nobles in the Rim Sector on notice.
