Casting quality: Excellent, only very minor flash which could be removed in seconds. Their is some very very minor discoloring from impure metals, but it doesn't effect the casting or detail so its good.
Design: Excellent, this will be simple to assemble as its designed for the top saucer to sit into a groove on the bottom saucer. All parts fit together nicely. The model even has plenty of room for the stem! Joy!
Detail: Very good, lots of detail when you look close.
Overall: Excellent, great casting. great design. Even an amatuer (like me) should find easy to assemble. Its designed so it just fits together. The detail is very good on close inspection. Delighted to find ample room for the stem!
This is a Great model, from design to casting to ease of assembly.
Hugely impressed, and can't wait for the other new ship releases now!
I'll post some pics when i can find my usb cable to connect my phone to my pc. No seperate digital camera unfortunately.
