Marathons not available to gaming stores yet?

My local dealer has informed me that he cannot order any Marathon Cruisers yet, something about the release date being pushed back.

Anyone experiencing the same problems or have any information as to t his?

well my orders been processed on dancing dryad (though its still listed as preorder...) I think its quite possilble given the number of EA players and the fact that the Marathon is one of the few new Armageddon released ships that most people actually seem to like (both in mini design and rules) that there simply werent enough of them to go around on the first run

I tried to order a couple at my LGS today and no luck either, they go through Alliance. I do have a Nemesis on the way though.

The Nemesis and White Star Gunships are on the shelves, everything else has been "rearranged...". However, the release schedule to the Suppliers (where the LGS get their stock) says that the Ancients and Liadra are due next?! Although they were keen to confirm that this isn't necessarily what will arrive. The LGS should all have a few new ships in hopefully early next week.

Yeah, Esdevium are also one of the three UK distributors for ACTA, and have been shipping the Ancients box to stores this week. Problem is they don't carry the entire ACTA range so a lot of miniatures stores don't use them and have to wait until next week when the other two distributors get the Ancients box in. Presumably Esdevium had their stock shot across the atlantic in rockets, to beat the others to the punch

The whole "release date" thing is kinda meaningless if you're in the UK, as the dates listed on the website are dates Mongoose start shipping stock to distributors. US distributors get it right away, while UK distributors have to wait for it to be put onto a plane from the US (which can take a few days until the next scheduled flight) and then wait for it to clear customs, and then get it out to the retailers so it can get onto the shelves The best rule of thumb for UK buyers of Mongoose products is add two weeks onto the date on the website for the items to be in stores. Sometimes its a lot faster, but it's rarely later than that.

It would suck if the Marathon's release has been pushed back. It's the most solid of the new Arma. EA ships.

It shouldn't be more than a couple of weeks later from the Nemesis if my intel is correct It's just that distributors were expecting it at the same time as the Nemesis, and of course told this to stores, who told the customers... When it didn't arrive at the same time it kinda threw things off a little.

Nothing to suggest it on the Esdevium list, though comments above about them not stocking the entire line may play into that.

Esdevium are very good on the rpg stuff but a little hit & miss with the ACTA range as they are only partial stockists. Tabletop games are the biggest UK supplier and importer, they had another shipment due in today so we'll know by Monday what has arrived! Fingers crossed on the newer ships.

This Suck! We wait for the book and minis for an eternity when they erw supost to relese this in July. We are in Oct. and they are not completelly ready? This people is getting wrost than Private press. :?

Well, we haven't sold out of Marathons... there haven't been any in yet (will be next week at the earliest now )
