Levels for the new Whitestar ships?

its ok the Liati could jump point bomb the whitestars

but its definately not a war class ship, i cant think of another war class ship it could stand upto apart from the WS gunship, and the same applies to the gunship, only warship it can stand upto is the Liati. as for taking on 3 whitestars, i think it would have a chance actually, its just as fast, just as manouverable, has one lower dodge and all weapons are anti fighter (plus think most are DD) so whitestars tend to die against it.

What's the White Star Gunship like then? Undergunned for its size/PL?

like a whitestar vesion of the liati, or a big whitestar with lower dodge, i would take 2WS and a WS2 over this vessel anyday

I was indeed talking about one-on-one. Even thinking fleet, I don't think that it's good enough to hunt White Star whilst surving (especially given the 1-to-3 ratio). Given the fluff, that's what we expect from the Liati - and it just cant deliver.
Yes the Liati does have some good White Star killing weapons. Except that that it doesn't have anything with a range greater than 12. So given the balance in speed and manueverability, the White Stars shoudl be able to keep out of range, even if not out of arc, whilst nibbling the Liati to death. Oh, and they've still got their adaptive armour. Yet sadly I think the
Liati is better off trying to kill White Stars over other targets, if it is ever selected to come out and play, that is.
