Large Ships, Reduced Crew, and Additional Sensor Stations

I would agree with that if Mongoose had stuck with 2% of ship for the bridge, But now we have to account for every sensor and comms system. How come I can put 5tons of sensors on a 400t ship and have one sensor operator, but on a warship that same 5 ton sensor array can now be used by 200 sensor operators?
Because the array isn't doing the work in Traveller? No idea. Maybe Traveller considers the work to actually be done at the individual sensor stations. I doubt it, but it is the best explanation I have at the moment.

I think two options:

1. Time share, in which each operator gets to look in any particular direction for a limited, allotted time slot.

2. Big picture, in that they get to look at a bunch of pixels continuously.

No, just two sets: Basic and Fleet.
Both can use squadrons: Basic p102; Fleet, p114.
Both can use optional vector movement.
And note there are no sensors as written in Fleet Combat. I guess there is nothing stopping you trying to use the ordinary High Guard rules for sensors, but not sure how it would work with fleets of ships, and no guidance is given.

I can only guess, but the principle is simplify, simplify, simplify...
The assumption is presumably that warships have good enough sensors and generally see that they need to see.
