Why? because I can....
Okay between the Kuglepanzer, and a video of a personal drone posted earlier I just had to....
The "wheel" wraps around the frame of the vehicle and is driven by powerful electric drives which also act as brakes. the "wheel" is actually split into two independent sections. by altering the rotation of one section the vehicle can be turned in addition to the turning force generated by tilting the vehicle to one side or the other.
its lightly armored and counts as a Motorcycle since monowheels are open chassis designs as written. the drive enters through a circular hatch that makes up the sides of the vehicle and steers through the use of panoramic cameras. It's stabilized by gyroscopes and control motors as sell as the gyroscopic force of the main wheels turning.
The tire is not inflatable, it's a solid piece with hexagonal spaces in the core to absorb impact and smooth out the ride a bit..It's designed as a fully cross country and rough terrain capable vehicle.
the winglets are the "kick stands" they also have enough ooompf to flip the vehicle back on its running gear if it should get knocked over.
It's armed with twin lined vulcan machine guns to reduce the back and forth vibrations of a typical heavy machine gun. Both guns spin up and fire at the same time to equalize the recoil, and have some elevation adjustment on the mount. but windage is controlled by turning the vehicle.
its main weapons are two Tac-Launchers which are mounted to the sides, and can swing upward out of the way of the hatch so the driver can enter and exit
Is it practical...eh.probably not...but it was fun to model and work up
