Hi guys,

Just a quickie. . .

The current printing of High Guard unfortunately has a printing error, which is causing us to recall all copies currently in the hands of distributors. We are immediatly starting a new print run, and are just waiting to hear on a delivery date. This will cause no more than a two week delay, and we are negotiating with our printers to get this down to next week.

US mail order customers have already been sent this version of High Guard - please do not panic, we have all your details, and you will be getting a new copy as soon as they arrive at our warehouse.

This issue has only affected High Guard, and the release of other books will not be compromised by this.

Matt,

I am right in assuming that the copies of High Guard that have been stuck in customs since Thursday, one of which I reserved at the Open Day on Saturday, have to be pulped and a new lot printed.

If so, can somone please rewind time, so I can start this day again, between one of my Colonels getting hysterical about her missing train tickets, my back playing up and finding out from my mate who is building a new PC that the case was badly damaged in the post and has to be sent back, together with finding out someone tried and failed to break in the house last night while I was out at roleplaying last night, it has been one hell of a day.

Dang that sucks. I was really looking forward to the book. Hopefully that doesn't mean Mongoose is out too much $ on this one. If the printing company covering the expenses or are you getting to just eat it?
