This is coming a close second to my dream of an A:2089 Traveller release.

Ooo, imagine a Traveller-A2089 book, full colour, with cut aways like this of a Warmek :)

You tease me like that too often and you'll find an 'RV' sneaking up on your 30th floor fortifications
LBH

LOL, there is only so much teasing he can take.

It could happen, 2089 sounds like a workable date for a print version of the long awaited T5.

It's not roleplaying if the Real Life events are concurrent to the game, at that point it becomes life

Sort of why "cyberpunk" and Twilight 2000 have fallen out of fashion. Their timelines are now predicated on events that would be history to us now. Both are still around, however. Cyberpunk is still 20 years in the future, and its now Twilight 2013. Truth is still stranger than fiction, however, so who knows...

Well if it's just a case of applying an offset to the timeline that's not too bad.

Imean c'mon, 2001 is still agreat film to watch even thought it's past tense technically

Is THAT when Corp is set, I must admit to not having noticed that, though I do remember thinking it could be reasonably tied in with A:2089 timeline.

LBH

Hmm, don't remember even coming across anything called Corporation to be honest but I dumped my Cyberpunk some time ago (wasn't playing it anymore and space is becoming an issue these days *sigh*), so mayhaps.

D'oh! I was actually looking at that just the other day, too. It's not what I was thinking of though, so maybe my brain just invented a number that seemed more sensible.
