Good info on the daily life of an average imperial citizen?

I know this is a rather complicated topic with every planet having their own cultures, but I wonder if there are any books out there which describe the average days at different tech levels within the imperium?

11,000 worlds, trillions of citizens. I'd say 'typical' will be a difficult concept.

The majority of Imperial citizens live on high pop worlds
high pop worlds have high law levels and authoritarian government
if you go look at early CT adventures you find the Imperium painted as bad guys and there is a very interesting quote from A1 Kinunir library data that gives an insight as to the conditions on Imperial core worlds:
