Games Workshop is a company who overcharges everything even when the models shouldnt cost 1/100th of what they ask for it, the story lines are weak are best, and i dont think they ever thought twice about the rules, there are so many gaps in the rules it is ridiculous, the new models they are bringing out are crap-e.g the Ogre Kingdoms-who wants to play with an army of people resembling Rick Waller?
i will probably think of more in a few hours

GW managed to wreck the Lord of The Rings game by doing the new models in a different scale-they should have learnt from before that having two scales for the same game just doesnt work, they messed up Warmaster and Epic 40K and now they are messing up LotR. How Stupid can they get? It really makes you wonder What are they going to mess up next?

As a matter of record, I quite like GW games and miniatures, and I would hope ours are half as good. I have my own thoughts about pricing, but on that score I am putting my money where my mouth is in terms of the costs of our miniatures ranges.

But I quite like the games - I used to write for a few of them

Gw isn't that bad. No where near perfect but not as bad as the ranters here make it out to be. If you ever played Blood Bowl or Mordheim you will know that GW can't be bad......I swear I am not being paid to say this :wink:

bloodbowl was aight. But couldn really be arsed to play it. Now this has catched my eye and im stuck on it.

GW did used to be alright but every 6 months they announce that they are raising the prices, but at the same time they are being very sneaky and changing what is in each Price Band so the prices go up more than you realise
also every time they change the rules they mess up the rules, and every time me and my friends play we have to ring up GW because some rule isnt in the book.

My old FLGS got sucked into the whole Bloodbowl rerelease thing. He got a ton of promises from GW that they'd remake the teams and hold events when they rereleased it.

A few months later the thing has dropped off the face of the earth and he was stuck with the stock. People wanted to play the game with different teams, but we just couldn't order them.
