Drinax and Anagathics

King Oleb is 105 years old, so is obviously using Anagathics monthly. Given that the Scholars Tower has TL 15 knowledge. Does anyone else assume they are producing synthetic anagathics for him? this seems a likely scenario. (to me at least) .

Either that or Oleb knows where to get a constant supply close by, because Drinax has lacked ships for a long time.

Any other thoughts and implications for this? What do other folks do?

Tech-World makes anagathics, i think. Maybe, it says that in the beginning of the Demon's Eye adventure? I forget where i read it. Somewhere else is says that King Oleb sells Drinaxian artifacts to the dismay of his people. Maybe this is for anagathics from Tech-World? Perhaps procured via Rachando? Sounds like something he would do.

The way I played it in my Campaigns was to have King Oleb have a small farm of questionable legality on Asim that produced Organic versions of Anagthics for The last 20 years and before it was lost in The Hydrophonics Bay malfunction 20 years ago grew them artifically in The Hydrophonics Bays that Drinax used to have

It's for anything that Drinax can't make itself; bulk industrial consumables, you name it.

I'd imagine Scholar's Tower can produce Anagathics, but they'll be limited in quantity. Which means he's not so much buying them for himself as anyone in the court who needs them - because if he doesn't, you're down to what the scholar's tower can produce in lab-scale rather than industrial-scale work, and he's going to have to start deciding which of his nobles starts aging.
