Cleave and light weapons

Power attack is a prerequisite for cleave. Characters using light weapons don't benefit from power attack (although they still get the penalty if thrying to use it, funny) except bludgeoning light weapons.

Well, the question is this: a thief using a dagger strikes a succesful sneak attack and falls his target due to massive damage. If he has the cleave feat, can he make the extra attack granted by the feat, even though he is using a light weapon?

Yes he can, so long as you still have the prerequisites for a feat you are allowed to use the feat even if you are prevented from using the prerequisite.

For example, a character with Far Shot can still make use of Far Shot even at distances greater than 30' (PBS is a prereq for Far Shot).
