In the CSC the description for Battle Dress weapons mounts says:
"Integrated Weapon Mount: For convenience, and to ensure a Traveller is never without a weapon yet keeps his hands free, battle dress can be constructed with weapons integrated into its structure, usually on the back of the arms or on the shoulders. The cost of this modification is in addition to the cost of the actual weapons fitted."
I understand the mechanics for using multiple mounted weapons, however, I don't see anything in the text about whether the Traveller (who is using these weapon mounts to "keep his hands free") can also use a hand-held weapon in addition to the mounted weapons. If so, would this be linked with the other weapons (seems like not)? Or would they only be able to attack with either the weapon in hand or the mounted weapons?
Maybe I missed the clarifying text somewhere, but any input would be appreciated.
