BABYLON 5 SCRIPTS

Thanks DD,

I was on the site about an hour before tyyou posted, they must have updated it in the gap.

My credit card is ready and waiting, Vol 8 puts us past the midway point.

Not that it's going to happen, but I sure wish that they'd release a collection of JMS's essays from the script books in a separate volume. I have no interest in the scripts themselves, just the supplementary stuff around them.

Matt

Well, LBH, I'm bummed out. Looks like JMS is going to take a break and skip releasing a new book this month, Issue 9 won't be out until second half of August.

Regards,
Larry

P.S.
The Declaration of Principles Collector's Item is enticing, doubt I could convince the wife to let me buy one, but it would be a great thing to have.

Good job, gives me chance to catch up... Not surprised actually, given that JMS has got a lot on at the moment (Comic Con, The Changeling, Marvel Civil War as well as Spiderman and who knows what else). Plus, there are rumblings about an announcement of sorts...

Same here. It's pricy, but as you say it'd be a great thing to have.

Yeah there wasd an announ cement about the break, if you aren't already I suggest you sign up to the scripts alert sevice at www.babylon5scripts.com

There doing a similar thing at www.declarationofprinciples.com

It looks shiny but I don't think I can justify it. I'll be happy with my 1 in 200 signed Sleeping in Light Soundtrack collection. I have all 6 of them, but most especially the JMS one that sold out in a day and a half.

LBH

Just got an e-mail notification of the Declaration of Principles being on sale.

I want to, but I really shouldn't waste £100 on something like that, so I'm not going to.

Just re-think it for a moment.

  • 8) It's B5 merchandise.
    8) It's a limited edition - no changing your mind a few months later.

But I already have an even more limited JMS signature, the one of only 200 SLeeping in Light Soundtrack CD.

ANd they still haven't sold out of the scripts yet, that's a whole 2 hours they've been on sale.

LBH

True, but £100 on that, is £100 less to buy a motorbike later.

Plus, I haven't hung up any of the dozens of signed photos I already have, never mind this.

Hehe, only thing you'll be missing then is a little bald fella with a bone on his head to convert it to run off a clean, efficient Minbari power source!

Well they still seem to have some DofP left 6 hours in.

Methinks they may have priced them too high, I mean Sonic Images still have some of the signature variants of the CDs left from years back.(Mind you, not the JMS ones)

LBH

Indeed Greg, a good point I had not considered, the next question is though, what are the next 2 fleets I buy to ignore

Besides, they sold out by 9 am at work when I checked.

LBH

Well they say it's the sincerest form of flattery, lok what I just gor from CafePress.com
